Send your kids

into space!

A fun, fascinating assembly program

about space travel

What is it really like to go into space?

How did Apollo 11 land on the Moon?

"awesome! kept even my most energetic students engaged and on the edge of their seats."

Here's an assembly program that's an adventure in outer space! Presented by veteran spaceflight docent Bill Andrews, your students will find out what it’s like when astronauts travel in space and learn about the science that makes it possible. And they’ll get an up-close look at mankind’s “giant leap” when astronauts first set foot on the Moon during the Apollo 11 mission. Along with vivid storytelling and dramatic visuals, the program includes engaging demonstrations of the science of spaceflight. It's a spellbinding voyage into space punctuated with plenty of STEM tie-ins, actual mission videos and photos, and fun opportunities for audience participation. Your students will:

  • learn how rockets work

  • witness the explosive power of rocket fuel

  • take part in a virtual launch of an Apollo spacecraft

  • learn how gravity affects space travel

  • construct a room-size scale model of the Earth and Moon

  • watch how astronauts first landed on the Moon on Apollo 11

  • see what life is like for astronauts working on the International Space Station

"Everyone had different answers about what they liked best. That tells me it was ALL good!"

Comments from teachers:

"Great performer and presentation! Extremely informative and entertaining for all ages."

"When I asked my kids if we should have you come back next year, they ALL yelled YES!!!"

"The program was set up for further exploration and learning."

"I loved your enthusiasm and energy."

"Engaging, entertaining, very good, very fun."
